mypanchang.com
mypanchang.com prepares Panchangam data and festival calendars, in several formats, for temples in India and abroad, and we prepare the calendars of major temples in the USA. Families around the world use it for the panchang of their own city.
mypanchang.com was founded in 2006 by Pundit Mahesh Shastriji, Panchang Karta and Siddhanti, a scholar of Drishya Ganita (Drik) Panchang and Dharmashastra. The mypanchang.com team are experts in Panchanga and Agama Shastra, and Dharmashastra scholars and jyotishis work with us to keep every date and rule correct.
Many on the team give their time as volunteers, so that Hindu families everywhere have a correct panchang. We are in the Greater Seattle area, Washington State, USA.
The Hindu Panchangam is calculated based on key aspects like longitude and latitude, time zone, sunrise, sunset, and moonrise timing. Therefore, the Hindu calendar produced in India cannot be used outside India. So mypanchang.com calculates the panchang and the festival days for each city on its own, anywhere in the world.
