Kalki Jayanti 2073

Kalki Jayanti commemorates the birth of Bhagavan Kalki, the tenth and final avatar of Vishnu prophesied to appear at the end of Kali Yuga, riding a white horse and wielding a blazing sword to end adharma and restore dharma. The observance falls on Shashti, the sixth day of the bright fortnight (Shukla Paksha) of Shravana.

Devotees observe the day with fasting, reading or reciting the Kalki Purana, and worship of Vishnu in his Kalki form. Because the day is decided by a Sayankala (dusk) prevalence rule rather than a fixed sunrise tithi, the exact date can shift by a day depending on the city. This page resolves that for your location automatically.
